Derek and his wife Kari are the Marriage Directors of the City First Church Marriage Ministry. Derek & Kari have been involved at City First Church since 1983 and Derek has served on the City First Church Council since 2009. Their passion is to encourage, strengthen, and bring hope to marriages with principles found in God’s Word. Over the last 13 years they have mentored countless married couples through life groups, mentorship groups, and one-on-one premarital counseling. Derek and Kari have been married since 1999 and have three children, Regan (15), Lauren (13) and Caleb (10).
