God Behind Bars—Sharing JESUS, Restoring Lives

God Behind Bars brings the life-changing message of Jesus into correctional facilities, offering hope, healing, and a fresh start to those who need it most. Every week, we gather to worship, study the Bible, and build community, creating a space where people can encounter God’s love in a real and personal way. Whether you are a volunteer, a supporter, or someone inside the prison walls, you are welcome to join us in this mission. Together, we are seeing lives transformed, families restored, and faith renewed—one heart at a time.

We're bringing the love of Jesus to Hardee Correctional Institution!

At City First Church, we believe hope should reach everyone—including those in correctional facilities. Each week, staff and volunteers step inside prisons to host church services and build relationships with inmates.

Through worship, small groups, and ongoing outreach, we help create environments where people feel supported, encouraged, and free to grow in their faith. Together, we are seeing lives changed and communities of believers formed through the power of Jesus.
